It was founded at the end of the 19th century as a bar. After the war in the 20th century and until the late 70s, it was a butcher shop and restaurant. The owner's name was Albino and was known as Albinonia. Nowadays elder customers still call it that way. Since 1985 it is known as "Iturri-Ondo" and since 1997 the bar and restaurant has been under Jon Otegi's care. It's the usual Basque restaurant. A specialist in the traditional Basque cuisine that always leaves its own touch. A large establishment located in a quiet area. At the local bar, tasty pintxos can be enjoyed, together with splendid Rioja wines, txakoli from Getaria or local cider. At the restaurant, we can find a variety of meats (T-bone steak, rib eye steak, cutlet...), various kindsof fish (hake, monkfish, sea bass, cod...) and homemade desserts (rice pudding, sponge cakes, créme caramel...).
