We are in Araia, in the municipality of Asparrena, Alavese entrance to the Aizkorri-Aratz Natural Park where we find the “Parketxe” (visitor centre); and at the foot of the imposing rocky spire that hosts the historic Marutegi castle. The Marutegi restaurant is located in a baroque farmhouse with more than 300 years. We are strongly committed to using local, seasonal products, complementing our menus (typical dishes from the Basque country) with eggs and vegetables from our farmhouse and surrounding area, not to forget the poultry from our own chickens.
