It all started with the custom of "cuadrillas" (groups of friends) going from bar to bar and eating something in between wines in the traditional ritual now known as "txikiteo.

From the simple and famous "Gildas", so called in homage to Rita Hayworth, tapas have evolved to become small masterpieces of haute cuisine, with elaborate and sophisticated flavours that give free rein to the creativity of those who prepare them.  

Pintxos have become a culinary reference and one of our main gastronomic attractions. For this reason, strolling through our streets you will find countless eating places with these exquisite miniature creations displayed along their bars just waiting to be sampled.
